Mr. Ben Calvin Marable was born on October 9, 1942 to the late George Subbett Washington and Mora Marable. He passed this earthly life on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Marable was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Linda Marable and Martha Sanford.

He is survived by four children, Sara Jane, Tony Calvin, Lois Annette and Shishana; two sisters Marie Nelson and Cassie Vaughter; four brothers, Joe, Jimmy, Elbert, and Eddie Marable; four grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Gwen; one brother-in-law, William Nelson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
