Casey Ray Clark was born December 3, 1950 to the late John W. Brown and Mary Samella Miles Clark. He transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Polly Johnson, Marcie Turner, Irma Alexander, Mildred Banks, and brother Bruce Clark. Casey loved his grandmother Ellen Miles, who also preceded him in death and who helped his mother raise him.

 He processed is faith in Christ at Smyrna Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee under the leadership of Pastor J.W. Rankin and soon became the church's musician. 

 He received his education in the public school system in Rutherford County and was the first Black to play quarterback for Crichlow Grammar School leading them to win their first game. His favorite sports team was the Dallas Cowboys. Win or lose he loved wearing their apparel.

 Casey was a very opinionated man. He loved talk radio shows and was an avid caller into WGNS and WVOL. He also had a very creative side. He drew, painted and sewed his own designs. 

 Being a very skilled guitarist, Casey literally believed he was a second Jimi Hendrix and had a keen ear towards every guitar note his idol played. His love for music led him to play for local bands and churches. From lead and bass guitar, drums and basic musical keyboarding, if you asked most local musicians of this community who taught them, undoubtedly, many would reply, 'Casey Clark'. Although he never owned a vehicle, somehow and some way he reached his destination. And once he arrived at his destination, he never met a stranger. He will surely be missed.

Casey leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, the love of his life, Joyce Miles; his sons, Casey Drennon, Cashawn McCullough, Jerome Drennon; grandchildren, Casen McCullough, Donivous Odom, Nicholas Odom, Caden Drennon and Tristan Drennon; sisters, Marion Appleton of Smyrna, TN, Sophia Clark of Murfreesboro, TN and Brenda Robertson of Nashville, TN; devoted friends, Bob, Gloria, Robin and Vans, the Collier Family and the Robertson Family; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
