Mr. Clifford McClain Jr. was born December 17, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Clifford Sr and Dorothy Couch McClain. He went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Clifford was baptized in a watery grave at East Cedar Street Church of Christ and was forever a devoted Christian. He was a 1973 graduate of Cascade High School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.

Clifford married Teresa Wells on November 11, 1978. This union was blessed with one daughter, Jannetta McClain.

Clifford worked many years with Baird Ward/Quebecor and Calsonic. In his spare time, he loved riding motorcycles with being a member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club, going to TSU football games, and spending time with his family.

Clifford was preceded in death by wife Teresa McClain; his daughter, Jannetta McClain; parents, Dorothy and Clifford McClain; and sisters, Penelope McClain, Sharon McClain and Audrey Elliott.

Those left to celebrate his life are his loving sister, Shirley (Joseph) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Larry (Audrey) Elliott, Randy Wells, Richard Wells and Russell Wells; grandchildren, Natasha McClain, Tarvis McClain and Essence Bonner; aunts, Inez Young and Elizabeth McClain; uncle, George H. McClain; cut-up cousin, Maurice Weddington; dedicated and loving friends, Buck Buchanan, Mary Buchanan, Glen Johnson and Darren Holland; and also a host of relatives and friends.
