Connie Marie King was born November 18, 1961 to the late Howard and Aline King in Rutherford County Tennessee. She departed this life on September 16, 2013 at Meharry Medical Center. She was educated in the Rutherford County School System.

At an early age, Connie professed hope in Christ and has been a member of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church starting under the leadership of Rev. Wallace Evans. Connie was preceded in death by a loving and devoted companion, Samuel Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one devoted daughter, La’Teria Miles; two devoted sisters, Patricia Y. King and Melissa C. King; three devoted brothers, Timothy L. King, Manishika King and Jerry Lee King, Sr., all of Murfreesboro and Smyrna area; five devoted nieces, Shatika Swader, Kimberly King, Bria Hugle, Caila Hugle and Chaila Hugle; six devoted nephews, Stacey Cason, Dem King, Gerald King, Jerry King, Jr., James McKnight and Eric King; two great nieces, Destiny King and Ceheria King; two great nephews, Deonte Cason and Kingston King; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
