Darrius Jerome Smith, 31, passed away at home on Thursday,  November 4, 2021 in Murfreesboro.

Darrius Smith was born on June 04, 1990 in Murfreesboro, TN, to parents, Stanley Jerome Smith and Pamela Lett. He graduated from Oakland High School in 2008. He obtained his Cinema Production degree from the Nashville Film Institute in 2019. He was the CEO of Oui The Eye media production company. He was also employed at Nissan plant and Americo. He was known as being the jack of all trades. He was full of life, friendly and always greeted others with a smile on his face.  His family and friends will always remember him as an ambitious and upbeat person.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Stella Marable of Murfreesboro, TN; and his paternal grandparents, Sophia F. Smith and Stanley James Buchanan of Shelbyville, TN.

Darrius Smith is survived by his parents, Pamela Lett and Stanley Smith; his loving fiancé, Demetris Lyles; his sons Zayvion Smith, Zamarion Smith, of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Christopher (Jamille) Holbert Sr, of Chattanooga, TN; his sister Ladayshi Gates, of Murfreesboro, TN; his nieces, Kiara Holbert, Christal Holbert, Kailanie Ward and Aniyah Ward; his nephews, Chris Holbert Jr. and Joshua Ward; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
