Florence accepted Christ at any early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Rucker Missionary Church.

She loved taking walks, eating out, shopping, M&M’s candy, her cat Snowball, her hats, soap operas, The Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. Most of all, children loved her. There was not a child she met that she did not bring into her arms for a hug.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter Ella (Michael) Buntin; Granddaughters, Yolanda Joy (Joel) Windrow, Dorothea (James) Sneed and Antonia Whitfield; Grandson, Anthony Evans; Great Granddaughters, Ayesha Voorhies, Aaliyah Voorhies, Jasmine Sneed, Kloe Sneed, Alexis (Rob) Morrison and Autumn Brock.; Great Grandsons, Datarious Voorhies, Montez Voorhies, Myles Sneed, Deleregus Sneed and Michael Brock, Jr.; Three Great Great Grandchildren, Antonio Voorhies, Peyton Brock and Sevyn Millsap; Her daughters of her heart, Betsy Maples and Summer Maples; Special devoted friends, Nancy Bradshaw and Marietta Bishop; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
