Gloria Mai Chunn was born on November 23, 1943, in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late Walter and Susie Chunn.

Gloria was educated in the Bedford County school system. She had seven children and dedicated her life to Christ at Bird Street Church of Christ. She worked in a factory and cleaned houses.

Gloria enjoyed her family and grandkids, church family, cooking and watching her soaps. She loved eating her snacks and sweets with her Dr. Pepper. Gloria always had a smile on her face every time you saw her, and she did not meet any strangers. She enjoyed spending time with her devoted sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and many other friends and relatives.

Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Kerry Chunn; great granddaughter, A’Kiley Hamler; siblings, Walter Green (Ann) Chunn, Gladys (George) Jones, Robert (Jonnie) Chunn, Dorothy (John, Sr.) Dismuke, William “Billy” (Annette) Chunn, and Betty Marie Chunn.

Gloria leaves to cherish in her memories, Hattie Mae (Robert) Thompson, Keith (Toyna) Chunn, Kathy (Emmett R., Sr.) McGee, Benjamin Chunn, all of Shelbyville, TN, Kenneth (Michelle) Chunn of Smyrna, TN, Kevin Chunn of Knoxville, TN, Kawonna (Wayman) Lewis of Missouri; ten grandkids, 19 great grandkids, nephews, nieces and cousins.
