James C. Osborne was born on October 2, 1949, in Murfreesboro TN to the late Winford Osborne, Sr. and Sally Taylor Osborne.

He was educated in the Rutherford County School System. He graduated from Holloway High School class of 1968.

James C. was a very hard-working man. He worked for Avco/Textron for 37 years from which he retired. He was vey active in sports growing up. He played football for Holloway High School. He also played baseball, softball, bowling and golfing. He was a member of a motorcycle social group – the Valley Bunch.

He met the love of his life in 1969 and married Emma Jean Sanders. From this marriage, two children were born Frederick E. Osborne and the late Ricky J. Osborne. He also had another son, the late Demetrius L King.

James C was preceded in death by his parents Sallie and Winford Osborne, Sr. Additionally he was preceded in death by his brothers Winfred Osborne Jr, Willie, George D. Osborne, Will Larry Osborne; sisters Annie Brown, Sally, Stella Williams, Mary Wade, Dorothy Mai Thomas, Deborah Ann Evans: sons Ricky Osborne and Demetruis King.

James C’s precious memories will forever be in the hearts of his loving wife Emma Osborne and his son Frederick Osborne; sister Betty (James) Wade and brother Jerry Lee Osborne.  In-laws, Evelyn (Victor Jr.) Cantrell, Mary (Anderson) King, Margie Goff, James Sanders Jr.   Great friends Anderson King, Robert Davis, Sam Green, amongst a few, along with a host of family members and friends.
