Kenneth (Kenny Ray) Sanders was born to the late Maggie Belle and Robert Sanders, Jr. in Murfreesboro, TN on September 21, 1958. He was educated in the Rutherford County school system and graduated from Holloway High School. He was baptized and grew up in the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Yvonne Sneed on July 2nd, 1993. Kenny Ray enjoyed all sports. He loved shooting pool and cooking.

Kenny Ray leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carolyn; two sisters, Rita (Terry) Peaks II and Valerie Sanders; three brothers, Robert Sanders III, Jeff D. Sanders and the late Glen Sanders; two sisters-in-law, Jean Vaughn and Sharon Orr; seven brothers-in-law, Rollie Lee (Linda) Sneed, James (Daisy) Sneed, Robert (Lilly) Sneed, Thomas (Aline) Sneed, Curtis; (Mary) Sneed, Terry Sneed and Michael Sneed; one uncle James Sanders, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
