Larry Roy Anderson, Sr., 68 passed away on July 6, 2013 at Vanderbilt Hospital, in Nashville, TN. Larry was born on April 25, 1945 to the late Robert Thomas and Ernestine Rippy Anderson. Larry is also preceded in death by one brother T.L. Anderson.

Larry attended Harris High School; where he was an outstanding running back. Larry worked for Eaton Corp for 33+ years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and all other sports. Larry enjoyed talking with friends old and young. Larry loved to cut up with them, and never met a stranger. Larry was a faithful member of Bird Street Church of Christ; until his failing health.

Larry was a devoted loving husband and father. Larry leaves to cherish in his memory his beloved wife Martha of 49 years, loving son Larry, Jr. and Grand dog “Katie”; one sister Linda Maxwell, of Shelbyville, TN; two brothers, Robert Thomas and Bobby Anderson of Shelbyville, TN; one brother-in-law Thurman C. Trice, of Nashville, TN; one aunt Annie C. Anderson, of Kenosha, WI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
