Memorial Service
Monsoreta Marable, affectionately known as “Monte”, was born on January 22, 1955, to Mary Christine Marable and the late Edmond Marable. He departed this life on October 24, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
He is proceeded in death by his father, brothers Philip and Larry Marable and grandson DeVante Marable
Monte was educated in the Rutherford County School System. He graduated from Oakland High School in 1975, he served in the National Guard for 6 years and was employed at Bridgestone/Firestone for 47 years.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age.
Monte joined in holy matrimony his lovely wife Deborah Burns on March 22, 1997. Monte loved spending time with his family, cooking, working and coming home to watch westerns and court tv shows in peace.
Monte is survived by his wife Deborah; his mother, Mary Christine Marable; two sons, Felice (Alisha) and DeVoe Marable; two daughters, Javonia Burns and Nikita Marable, brothers, Lizera (Stephanie), Kent (Carolyn), Preston Marable, Eddie (Reba) Martin and Shawan (Lagetta) Baldwin; sister, Gloria Richardson; sisters-in-law, Cassandra (Willie) Nevils and Donna Burns; brothers-in-law, Patrick and Christopher (Donna) Burns; uncles, Rev. J. W. (Hattie) Rankins and Jimmy Marable; aunts, Amanda Rankins and Polly Vaughter; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
