Anderson Harris Evans was born December 26, 1951 to Florance Ella Evans and the late Edmond Evans and Father Robert T. Pinkerton. Anderson departed this life on June 10, 2022.

Anderson attended Rutherford County School System and graduated from Central High School in 1972.  Anderson retired from G.E. after 31 years of service. He enjoyed drawing, building things, gardening, taking care of his mother, farming and he served as a faithful Deacon, choir member, and missionary of Mt Zion Rucker Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Deborah Evans; three children, Dot (James) Sneed, Anthony Evans and Joy (Joel) Windrow; sister, Ella (Michael) Buntin; grandchildren, Deleregus, Alexis, Jasmine, Myles and Kloe Sneed, Datarious, Montez, Ayesha and Aaliyah Voorhies; a host of nieces and nephews, a devoted friend, Brother in love, Larry Osborne and Joel Windrow.
