Franklin Justice Woodlee, Jr. went on to his eternal rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.  He was born on July 28, 1951 in McMinnville, Tennessee to the late Franklin J. Woodlee, Sr. and Eulous M. Woodlee. He leaves a legacy of courage, charity and kindness behind throughout the cities of Louisville, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee.

He worked professionally for Whayne Supply Company for over 32 years, beginning his career as an apprentice mechanic, and working his way through the organization into management. In 2006 he moved to Nashville and joined Cat Financial where he continued to work and promote the brand that he loved.

He was a pillar of the community in the West End of Louisville throughout the years working with charitable organizations such as Four Quarters Enterprises, Cabbage Patch Settlement House, and Junior Achievement, to name a few.  The years of dedication was recognized by many and rewarded by the Governor of the State of Kentucky when he was honored as a Kentucky Colonel in September 2005 following in the footsteps of his father (July 1979).  His charitable works with Junior Achievement followed him to Nashville where he spent his time with the students of Pearl Cohn High School.

He will continue to be cherished in the hearts and memories of those that he leaves behind: his wife of 48 years, Beverly Joyce (Lowman) Woodlee; daughter, Tanyaloquesha McGhee (Anthony); son, Chianti A. Woodlee (LaToya); grandsons, Justice and Landon McGhee, Aaron, Jonathan, and Julian Woodlee; granddaughter, Kennedy McGhee; siblings, Nina Dawson (Ron), Deborah Terry, Daniel Woodlee, Eva Woodlee (Buford); his beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
