Fred Bean, Sr. was born May 3, 1926 to the late Jody and Mattie Pearl Parks Bean. He left this earthly life on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
Fred Bean, Sr. was educated in Kelso, TN. He worked and retired from the Jack Daniels Distillery after 25 years in 1991.
He was a member of the Elm Street Church of Christ in Lynchburg, TN for over 60 years. Fred loved his family, family gatherings, farming, cars, and his dogs.
In December of 1942, Fred married Annie G. Cannon Bean, and to this union, nine children were born. They had a special relationship with Zeno and Wilma Early who have been friends of the family for over 50 years.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Annie G. Cannon Bean; parents, Jody and Mattie Pearl Parks Bean; two sons, Fred Bean, Jr. and Bobby Bean; daughter, Nannie Trollinger; granddaughter, Mary L. Reese; son-in-law, Tommy Reese, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Hampton Bean; two sisters, Gladys Webb and Josephine Bean; and five brothers, Robert, James, Wilfred, Joe and Thelbert Bean.
Fred leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Anne Bailey, Mary (Walter) Wright and Melody (Allen) Dalton; three sons, Thomas (Margaret) Bean, Jerry Bean and Stanley Bean; sister-in-law, Alice Bailey; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
