Frederick Demetrius Pinkerton opened his eyes to the world on March 23, 1959. He closed his eyes to go be with the Lord on Friday March 6, 2015. He was born to Mr. Fred K. Pinkerton and also to the late Mrs. Lillian J. Pinkerton. Frederick was preceded in death also by his loving grandmother, Ms. Martha Smith, nephew Mr. Jauntae Pinkerton.

Frederick attended several Metro Nashville Davidson County public schools he also attended high school at North Nashville High School where he graduated with honors in 1977. He was a brother of five siblings and was very much loved. He accepted Christ at a very early age and united with The Original Church of God under the leadership of Elder Murphy Crawford and Elder Samuel McDonald.

Frederick leaves to cherish his memory his one and only son Demetrius Pinkerton; father Fred K. Pinkerton; two sisters, Juana (Picksley) Cheek and Tina (Allen) Dailey; three brothers, Ronald (Kerrice) Pinkerton, Calvin (Lavette) Pinkerton and Michael D. Pinkerton; grandchildren, Nautica and Demetrius, Jr.; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and friends, two very close friends, William Kirkpatrick and Walter (Big Doug) Lewis.
