Ms. Bessie Elizabeth Reed was born June 24, 1950, in Murfreesboro, TN to Fannie L. Davis. She was called to rest on July 27, 2022, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She loved to cook, sew & spend time with her family & friends. She was everyone’s best friend & everyone’s second mother. She accepted Christ at a young age at Brandon View Baptist Church. She loved helping and feeding people. She received her education from Holloway High School & MTSU. She worked at Riverdale High School for many years in the cafeteria & special education departments.

Bessie leaves to celebrate her memory, her son, James Reed Jr.; her daughter, Treveria Rankins; her step-daughter, Klelesa Nance; five grandchildren, Darius, Trevarius “Tink’, & Justice Reed, Anthony “AJ” Rankins and very devoted granddaughter, Jaimese Rankins; her great granddaughter, Journni Reed; her very devoted brother, Dallas Davis; and nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
