Betty Rowland born in Kentucky on April 11th, 1949, and raised in Ohio, one of eight children born to the late Philip and Anna Chasteen (95).
She was married in 1964. She leaves five daughters, one son, twenty-four grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and multiple other family and friends.
A family that loved the Lord and one another was her greatest passion.
She called Murfreesboro, TN home and thoroughly enjoyed fellowship with her family at Holy Hill Chapel AG, with Pastor Nicky Agyepong.
Mrs. Rowland was devoted to Jesus with a true appreciation of His word as well as music that honored His name. She was a lover of all thing’s nature and the beauty of God’s creation. She always knew how to bring family together with her wonderful cooking that filled the air with love.
From comforting her children
to defending her grandchildren
to dancing with her great-grandchildren
she always seemed to know what was needed at every turn. From doll clothes to gowns and tuxedos, she was a highly skilled seamstress and designer with multiple inventions. Mrs. Rowland enjoyed the gift of life and always encouraged others to not take it for granted. Now back where she began, in the arms of her creator she is in perfect peace. She will truly be missed by family and friends alike.
