Mrs. Evelyn Fletcher was born on December 1, 1944 to the late W. Clifford and Sue J. Fletcher. At age 72, she passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017.
Evelyn lived in Chicago at one point in her life. She was a great seamstress, helped those she came across, fed the homeless and was liked by the young and elderly. She was Mother Evelyn Fletcher in Christ and led all of her siblings to Christ.
Evelyn was preceded in death by Walton Womack, Sr.; parents, Sue J. Fletcher and W. Clifford Fletcher; sisters, Mildred Sue Turner and Wilma Henderson; brothers, twin Elbert Fletcher and William C. Fletcher, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Euris Womack; four sons, Walton, Irving, Byron and Joshua Womack; five sisters, Betty Cooper, Gloria Lane, Ruby Butler, Dorothy Foster and Barbara Benita Allen; six grandchildren, Alicia Womack, Searra Lathom, Lazzarus Womack, David Womack, Joshua Womack, Jr., and Justin Womack; one great grandchild, Aniya Crumpton; along with a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
