Georgia L. Alexander was born on May 16, 1920, to the late Maggie Sublett Marable and McKinnley Marable.  She left this earthly life at the age of 102, on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, TN.

Georgia loved to read.

Georgia was married to the late Ramsey Alexander, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Walter Alexander and David McKinnley Alexander; and six siblings, John Lewis Marable, Jessie Marable, William McKinnley Marable, Willie Andrew Marable, Sam Henry Marable and Louise Marable.

Georgia leaves to cherish her loving memories, two children, Roy (Barbara) Alexander of Murfreesboro, TN and Ramsey (June) Alexander, Jr. of Columbia, MD; daughter-in-law, Sue Alexander of Woodbury, TN; ten grandchildren, Ramsey (Deborah) Alexander III of  Cape Canaveral, FL, Brian (Eva) Alexander of Cooksville, MD, Michael Alexander of CA, Tony (Gwendolyn) Alexander of Memphis, TN, Djuna (Larry) Darnell of Goodyear, AZ, Torrin (Sharvon) Alexander of Winston-Salem, NC,, Donald Alexander of South Jordan, UT, Darryll (Deborah) Alexander of El Sobrante, CA, Christopher Alexander of Woodbury, TN and loving granddaughter, Kristal Alexander of Woodbury, TN; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
