Hattie Mai Rankins was born on June 5th, 1944 in Hampshire, Tennessee, to the late Elder George and Lettie Witherspoon Davis. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She was a graduate of Clarke High School. She enjoyed cooking, singing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bellafant Tabernacle in Columbia, TN. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Elder John Ira Rankins.
Hattie Mai Rankins made her transition peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lettie Frances Davis and Mary Elizabeth Dudley; two brothers, George Henry Davis and James Odis Davis; and brother-in-law, Leland Webster.
She leaves to cherish her memory one loving sister, Annie Martha Webster of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brother-in-law, Charles Dudley of Spring Hill, TN; many children she loved as her own, Timothy Johnson, Tabitha Bass, Stephanie Monroe, Ira Rankins, Warren Dudley (devoted nephew and caregiver), Debbria (Richard) English, Catherine Chambers, Georgia (Eric) Arms, Selicia (Daryl) Dawson, Cindy (Sean) McCann, Randall (Betsey)Webster, Jeffrey Webster, Charles A. Dudley, Kathy Settles, Emma (John) North, Michelle Brown, Marilyn (Chris) Frierson, Lynn Ferguson, Christopher (LaToya) Davis, Sherry Harvell, George Davis, Jacqueline Davis, Sheila (Everette) Patton and Warren (Tena) Davis; and host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
