Lettie Rose Ewing Garner was born August 5, 1930 to the late John A. and Leara S. Gant Ewing in Flat Creek, TN. She departed this life on November 4, 2015. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member at the Richmond Church of Christ then Bird Street Church of Christ.
Lettie Rose was married to the late Lewis Garner, Jr. and to this union, two girls and one boy were born.
She attended school at Flat Creek, then went on to attend Bedford County Training school and Nashville Christian Institute. She retired from American Car Co. after 30 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; two children, Ollie Jeanne Garner and Robert Clarence Garner; three brothers, baby brother, John W. (Bertie May) Ewing and Clarence (Mary) Ewing; three sisters, Clestine Greer Johnson, Mala B. (Melvin) Peacock and Mary Lucindia (Alvin) Rippy.
Lettie Rose leaves to cherish her memories, special daughter, Robin Michele Garner (William David “Flea”) Stephens of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, David Lewis Stephens, Andreaus Garner, Jeremy Stephens, Jeané Stephens (Riley) Howard and Breiten Jordan, all of Nashville, TN; seven great-grandchildren, DeMaira Davidson, NarQuan Stephens, Riley Howard, IV (Lil 4), Jeremy Stephens, Jr., Davion Stephens, J’Zyiah and Saryiah Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephew and other relatives; the entire Farrar Family, Aubrey Sims, Delores Johnson, Anna Jean Peacock, Mary Scales, Richard Gant and too many friends to name them all.
