Lillie M. Boykin departed this life on August 20, 2018 in Murfreesboro, TN.
Lillie M. Boykin was born August 20, 1950 to the late Will Herman and Mary Lee Talley in Westfield, Alabama. She gave her life to Christ at a very young age at Saint Paul AME Church in Fairfield, Alabama. She was active in Sunday School, Children’s Choir and Youth Usher Board. She later continued her service unto the Lord at True Victory Church, where she often shared her love and motherly wisdom.
Lillie was educated in the Westfield and Fairfield Alabama School System. She also later pursued a degree in nursing. This field of study allowed her to pursue her true passion of loving, caring and giving to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Herman and Mary Lee Talley, her brother, Larry Gene Talley and son, Woodrow Boykin.
Her memory will be cherished by her children, Wendy (Jerome) Epps, Willie (Altonette) Sanders, Anthony (Octavia) Caldwell and Yvette (John) Boykin. Her legacy of loving and giving was not limited to her occupation but overflowed in her love for her grandchildren, Jertoriya (Jeremy) Fields, D’Juan (Megan) Epps, D’Marco (Ellen) Boykin, Devin Epps, Brittney Sanders, William Sanders, Isabella Holland, Antonesha Mixon, Amber House, Carek Fagin, Comoor Fagin, Chris Caldwell, Reagan Caldwell, Justice Caldwell and Roderick Caldwell; great-grandchildren Kenydee Fields, Carter Epps and Roman Epps; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and life-long friends, Joann Butler, Cheryl Stonewall-Berry and Janice Lucky.
