Linda K. Akins’ Slideshow

Linda K. Akins was born on December 16, 1969, to the late Christine Delores Akins Short and Nelson Akins Sr. She departed this life on September 7, 2023.

Linda was educated in the public schools of Davidson County. She worked for 24 years with Metro School Systems. Linda enjoyed Marvel movies, cooking and spending time with her grandkids.

Along with her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Nelson Akins Jr. and Joe Henry Akins, and nephew, George Lyons.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Jaron and Chris; daughter, Keisha; siblings, Mai, Delores, Donna, Tom, Billy (Marie) and William (Pam); grandchildren, Javarrious, Kristyana, Ju’Lyricah, Ka’Liyah, Kayla and Rylee; nieces and nephews, Tekella, Traci (LaDonna), Destiny, Nyerissa, Durael, Tony, Johnithen, Catherine, Kennetha, Tina and cousins.
