Mrs. Margaret H. Bean was born January 4, 1944 to the late Ernest, Sr. and Leola Hampton. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalee Hampton Coope, Zelma Hampton; one brother, Larry Hampton; mother in law, Annie Cannon Bean; father in law, Fred Bean, Sr.; other in laws, Annie P. Bean Bailey, Fred Bean, Jr., Nann Trollinger, Melody Childress and Bobby Ray Bean.
Mrs. Bean attended Bedford County Training High School. Retired from American Can/Alcan after 20 plus years. She also worked many years at Model Laundry as front desk clerk.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Thomas Bean; daughter, Tammy Starks; sons, Thomas J. Bean, Jr., and Thomas M. Bean; grandchildren, Thomas M. Bean, Jr., Kim, Kendra and Ashley Starks; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Arlene (A.W.) Smith; four brothers, Wayne, Donald, Jerry and Ernest (Bernice) Hampton; in laws, Billie Jerlene (Larry) Hampton, Jerry W. Bean, Mary Wright, Stanley B. Bean and Robert Trollinger; devoted niece, Barbara Cooper; cousin, Maire Castleman; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Laura Ann Marsh, Bonnie Brooks, Connie Daniels, Mary Wade and Martha Anderson.
