Thelma Louise Franklin was born September 15, 1931 and she left this earthly life on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at St. Thomas Hospital.

Thelma was the 2^nd child to the late Elvira and Charles Taylor, Sr. She was educated in Evansville, Indiana and was part of the Eastern Star Ch.10.  She worked at Meharry Hospital, Central State Hospital, Dell Computers and she was a security officer.  Thelma was a member of St. James CME then moved to Faith United and then found a home at Sand Hill Church of Christ.

Thelma is survived by two daughters, Anna (Tony) Stanley and Catherine Franklin Morton Woods; god daughter, Sandra Waterwave; devoted granddaughters, Hazel Franklin and Sonya Jennings; grandchildren, Loniel Morton, Donna Selbourne and Neal Mapps; devoted sister in law, Kress Taylor; devoted friends, Sandra Reed, Pastor Wellington and Donna Johnson; along with a host of great grandchildren and friends.
