Rosia Anna Arnold Ward, the daughter of the late Clarence Sherman Arnold and Georgia Anna Leftwich Arnold, was born February 3, 1941, in Wheel, Tennessee. She departed this life peacefully on April 20, 2024. In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Leonard Mai Braden, Francis Garrett, Mattie Biggers, and Annie Marie Walls; and six brothers, Perry, Clarence, Charles, Haile, and twins Delmo and Elmo Arnold.
She received her education at the Bedford County Training School graduating in 1961 and attended Motlow State Community College for two years. She worked for many years at the department store Castner-Knott and ultimately retired from Stanley Tools. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, art, and music. Rosia also enjoyed taking care of and tending to the needs of the elderly.
Rosia became a member of the Church of Christ at an early age. She was married on September 29, 1963, and was blessed with two children, Chris and Ramona. She was a very loving and devoted Mother to her children and grandchildren.
She will be fondly remembered by her son, Chris W. Ward of Lewisburg, Tn; her daughter, Ramona “Denise” (Tony) Geiger of Blythewood, SC; Two grandsons, Jacody Lanier and Jalen Geiger; one granddaughter, Ja’nia Geiger; two brothers-in-law, Ell T. Biggers (Mattie) and Ora D. Walls (Marie) and two sisters-in-law, Francis Arnold (Haile) and Agnes Gee (Elmo); two special nephews, Mike and Stan Walls, as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
