Sarah Lorene Holman was born on July 1, 1948, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late Tommy and Lorene Nelson. She left this earthly life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was one of fifteen children and attended school in Christiana, Tennessee.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Anita Norris and Tony; and siblings, Martha, Johnny, Richard, Jerry, Judy, and Marion Nelson and Sandra Britton.

Sarah is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Holman; three daughters, Ann (Walter Dalton) Woods, Donna (Jeffrey) Pillow and Janic Nelson; one son, Eddie (Dorothy) Smith; sister, Jimmie “Gert” Nelson Shannon; brothers, Tommy (Betty) Nelson, George (Vanessa) Nelson, William (Marie) Nelson, Albert (Judy) Nelson, Clarence (Debra) Nelson and Pleas Nelson; brother-in-law, Richard Britton; 22 grand children; 31 great grandchildren; one nephew, Richie Britton; two nieces, Kayla Britton and Kawana Wetherspoon; one great niece, Sierra Britton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
