Shavon Elizabeth Wade Hurt was born on July 16, 1975, to Louvenia Armstrong and Gerald Wade. She departed from this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. 

She was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church in her early years and pursued her education at Oakland High School. Shavon dedicated herself to serving as a cook at Crossroads and a Rutherford County Bus Driver #47. Her interests included a deep passion for children, cooking, fishing, reading, and singing. She enjoyed watching watching tv, especially Food Network and romance movies. 

Shavon was preceded in death by stepfather, Ephraim Armstrong; maternal grandparents, John and Ruth Blythe; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Alma Wade; nephew, Lavone Lamoreaux; aunts, Tammy Bullock, Wanda Cutler, Donna Blythe, Pearlie Martin, Gracie Hampton, Marlene Ekeh, Anna Lilly, Novella Wade and Baby Gwen; uncles, Howard, Kenneth, Loyd and John Blythe, Ernest, Richard and John Wade; and cousins, Jennifer Blythe and Carlreca Bullock.

Shavon is survived by her loving parents, mother, Louvenia Armstrong of LaVergne, TN and father, Gerald Wade of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Amber Hurt of Murfreesboro, TN; honorary daughter, Kiana Wade of GA; sons, DuShawn Baker, DuVon Baker and Kandon Hurt, all of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Geralyn (Bryant) Wade-Hurt of Murfreesboro, TN, Dieon Wade and Pamela (Thomas) Wade of LaVergne, TN, Special Lawrence of Murfreesboro, TN and Tamara Armstrong of AZ; brother, Eric Armstrong of Mt Pleasant, TN; nieces, Kiana (Jonathan) Wade, Dieontanea Wade, Tamia Hurt, Markaylla Wade and Kourtney Freeman; nephews, Terrell Wade, Dieonte’ (Kimberly) Wade, Brandon Hurt, Keylain Wade, Thomas Wade, Jamarcus Wade, Demont Wade, Kylen Freeman, Javone Lamoreaux; aunts, Valerie (Pierre) Lyons, Verna Mitchell, Celia Cunningham, Ellis Jones, Joyce Blythe, Hilda Blythe and Januas Blythe; uncles, Goldy (Mary) Wade, Jerry, Paul and Louis Blythe; devoted cousins, Tomiko Alexander, Chris Lilly, Emerson Williams and Morgan Patton; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
